We're delighted to announce that Andrew Coombs, owner of Kings Oak Accountancy, has been awarded the Rising Professional of the Year 2025 at the inaugural IFA Awards.
The award was presented by Andrew Conway FIPA, CEO of the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA), at a ceremony held on 25 June 2025 at the Royal College of Physicians in London. The honour recognises Andrew's leadership, innovation, and dedication to serving UK small businesses with clarity, care, and practical expertise.
Carrying Forward a Legacy
Andrew's success is not just a personal milestone - it's a proud moment in the continued journey of Kings Oak Accountancy. The firm was originally founded by Michael Coombs, Andrew's father, whose reputation for trust, professionalism, and unwavering client support built the foundation Kings Oak stands on today.
Since taking the reins, Andrew has brought fresh energy and a strategic mindset to the firm, guiding it into a new era while staying true to the values established by his father.
"I'm incredibly honoured to receive this award," said Andrew. "It means so much to be recognised by the profession, but also to represent Kings Oak in this way. I owe a huge thank you to my dad, Michael - for building a firm with integrity at its core, and for supporting me every step of the way as I've grown into this role."
Why This Recognition Matters
This award is just the beginning. Under Andrew's leadership, Kings Oak Accountancy remains committed to helping service-based business owners grow confidently, plan proactively, and achieve more with less stress.
